This course can provide evidence of safeguarding-related professional development. It does not provide a statutory safeguarding appointment, regulated professional qualification, teaching licence, or automatic eligibility to work as a Designated Safeguarding Lead. Employers may require role-specific training, relevant experience, supervised practice, and an enhanced DBS check.

Assessment & Certification
Your knowledge is assessed through an online multiple-choice examination covering the pastoral care and safeguarding topics studied during the course. A score of 60% is required to pass, and your result is provided immediately after submission. Free retakes are available so you can revisit the learning materials and strengthen your understanding.
You will also complete and submit a written assignment, displayed as the “Final Exam” within the course. This activity allows you to demonstrate your understanding of safeguarding responsibilities and apply what you have learned to realistic situations.
After successfully completing the required assessment, you can order a PDF version of your CPD-accredited certificate. An optional printed certificate is also available for £24.99. The certificate provides evidence of professional development but does not replace employer-led safeguarding training, local procedures, or role-specific statutory requirements.
